Privacy Policy
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Mbox Delivery Pro LLC ("Mbox," "we," "us," or "our") is a New York limited liability company providing email deliverability consulting services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information through our website at mboxdeliverypro.com (the "Site") and when you contact us about our services.
Scope note. This policy covers information we handle as a controller — namely, visitors to our Site and people who submit inquiries to us. When we provide consulting services, we may access personal data within our clients' own systems and platforms; in those engagements we act as a processor on the client's behalf, and that data is governed by our agreement with the relevant client, not by this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name and email address, along with any information you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website platform (Squarespace) and its analytics tools may collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and approximate geographic location. Some of this information is collected through cookies (see Section 5).
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you not include sensitive details in contact-form messages.
3. How we use your information and our legal bases
We use the information above to:
Respond to your inquiry and discuss our services. Legal basis (EU/UK GDPR): performance of, or steps taken at your request prior to entering, a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), and/or our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Operate, secure, and improve the Site, including analytics. Legal basis: your consent for non-essential/analytics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)); our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, functional website for essential operations (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Comply with legal obligations where applicable.
We do not use contact-form information to send marketing or newsletter emails unless you separately and expressly opt in to receive them.
4. How we share your information
We share personal information only with:
Service providers/processors who help us run the Site and respond to inquiries — principally Squarespace, Inc., which hosts our Site, processes our contact form, and provides website analytics. Squarespace processes and stores data on servers in the United States under its own data processing terms and privacy commitments.
Legal and safety recipients where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our Site uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Site to function. Non-essential cookies (including analytics cookies) are used only where permitted.
We display a cookie consent banner so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. For visitors in the EU, UK, and other regions requiring prior consent, non-essential cookies are not placed until you consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the banner or your browser settings. For details on the cookies our website platform uses, see Squarespace's cookie documentation.
6. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States — including the EU or UK — your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we and our providers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy mechanism) for such transfers. To request more information about these safeguards, contact us at privacy@mboxdeliverypro.com.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep contact-form information only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for any resulting business relationship, and we delete or anonymize inquiry data that does not lead to an engagement within 18 months of last contact, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained per our platform's retention settings.
8. Your privacy rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (DPA) (in the EU, refer to the EDPB member list at edpb.europa.eu; in the UK, the ICO at ico.org.uk).
If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as California), you have the right to know/access, delete, and correct your personal information, to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information as defined by those laws, no opt-out is necessary, but you may still exercise your other rights.
9. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any right, email us at privacy@mboxdeliverypro.com with your request. We will verify your identity where required and respond within the timeframe set by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
10. Data security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, consistent with applicable law, including the New York SHIELD Act. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
Our Site and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
